~~~
trying — to excuse
trying — to forget
stories we all have
nurtured maybe not
images — not dreams
fairytales stopped
stolen — yet borrowed
youth to old age
circumstances — out of control
wires cut, lines destroyed
not by hate but by — confusion
Accept
remembrance of soul — emotion
Allow
whispers beyond — to flow
Receive
hood from child
all — which is
clinging, clawing, grasping,
no existence beyond — felt now
living forever never meant so much
visions, belief, faith
remembering who I was
and who I’ll be
it is and always will be
a — story
